I just happened on this joint when the restaurant a friend and I were going to visit was unexpectedly closed and - we weren't at all disappointed! The staff was super friendly and quick, our food came out quickly and correct and was really yummy! Definitely worth giving them a try some day!
Great flavors and value. The service was excellent. During the lunch rush there was only one worker seating, taking orders, and serving. He did a great job managing all the customers. The food was worth the wait and even though the worker was by himself he still provided excellent service
February, 2024 Update: We decided to eat at Bonchon instead of having it delivered this time and had a fantastic experience. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was fantastic as always. Tonight we tried the Yangnyeom sauce along with the Spicy strips. We also shared Strawberry Soju between us which was absolutely delicious. We ordered delivery from Bonchon tonight and it was heavenly. The chicken was fresh, moist, crunchy and delicious. Both the soy garlic and spicy had plenty of sauce on them. The spicy is not super hot but leaves a nice warm feeling in your mouth after eating them. If you like a little more spice you can dip in a sriracha sauce. The onion rings are always amazing from this location. Crunchy and delicious - they go well with the strips. FYI, chicken typically also comes with a side of either cole slaw or pickled radish. We don’t care for either of those options so didn’t include the side.
Love it here. Tried the national city location and did not disappoint. We did the $40 meal deal . Crispy chicken , ttboki and bao buns. 100 recommend 👌 👏
Service was awesome from start to finish. One of the workers even came and took pictures for us. Our server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good and served hot.
I love wings and I love Korean wings especially. I came to bonchon because my friend told me they have great bulgogi items. The waiter also recommended to us the wings are thier specialty! So we ordered a dozen wings. Half spicy and half regular. They were so good ! Came with 4 giants drums and the rest were regular size. Man they were some of the best wings we have ever had. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also got bulgogi fries and bulgogi tacos which were also good ! The fried rice was some of the best fried rice I have ever had! Definitely coming back here to try some other item on the menu !
Very friendly service with very tasty Korean inspired dishes, especially their chicken wings. The soy garlic is one of our favorites, though if you want a bit of spice you can go with the Korean BBQ sauce (my youngest son's favorite). The house fried rice is also sweet and flavorful, and the pork belly in the pork belly bao buns is very tender. This location is smaller than the one in Kearny Mesa, so it can be a bit crowded, and the parking lot spaces are very full, and depending on the time of day you may have to park a little far as the parking lot services a lot of very busy establishments like Seafood City. Definitely recommend for grabbing lunch with family and friends.
Theyre always so sweet and kind and the food is always great! Today we ordered some soy garlic and the wings usually aren’t saucy and they tasted different than usual we checked the box and it wasn’t for us:( it said Yang BBQ, I wish we would’ve checked before we left because I have a persona gripe with bbq so I couldn’t eat it but my friends still ate them and thought they were delicious!!!!
Love this place! Best korean chicken I've tried so far. Also Mondays and Tuesdays $1 dll a wing deal, is amazing! And the Korean Feast too!
I'll be honest, we stumbled upon this place by chance. We were hungry and cold, and I have to say, this place exceeded our expectations. First of all, the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. My partner and I are bilingual, but I need to mention that the young lady who served us noticed we were speaking Spanish, and she took the initiative and started serving us in Spanish, she suggested some dishes and we were delighted. I ordered a delicious mushroom soup, the kimchi was super fresh, we had wings and now we know why they're the best, paired with soju. I have to say that after the traffic, the storm, and the cold, this place was perfect to end our night. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
